Was incredibly lucky to work on this for Crypt of the Necrodancer, a game by Brace Yourself Games. The model was made to be produced as a life-sized statue for show on events.
For balance purposes I opted early on to go for a classic contrapposto with her iconic shovel. It took a while to find a balance in style between the current style of Cadence of Hyrule, and Crypt's original designs. I think in the end we found a good match, that would also work well in the final statue. Despite being of a large size (1.60m) any detailing (sculptural and colour-wise) had to be kept at a minimum, since all details would have to be sculpted/painted by hand on top of the physical statue.
